A painful bump.. what could it be??

I have a painful bump that just appeared today on my bottom part of my eye like a little under where you would put eyeliner. It hurts if i touch it feels like a bruise but i know its not because its a bump idk what it is do you have any ideas? Its red its not itchy its just a bump and it hurts.

its most likely a sty..ive had one before..and it will hurt..if your like me..then your eye could even swell up, but no worries..it will go away in about maybe a week or 2..if it hurts too much..then id stop putting on the eyeliner until it heals..hope i helped =]

That is most likely a sty, as the other advicinator said. It's usually a bacteria trapped in an eyelash follicle.

It can sometimes be a virus. It usually goes away on its own within 5 days. Try not to touch it or scratch it. Throw away your eyeliner and mascara and don't use any until the problem is resolved. Buy completely new eye makeup at that point.

You probably have a Sty (sp?)

If it looks like a bubble kind of, or a dot, that's red-ish, than it probably is.

Sorry, I'm not sure how to get rid of it. But don't use eye make up. If you do it could irritate it, and I'm told it is contagious.

This can be caused by make-up also.
