Does it really hurt to get a tattoo? Like, does it actually feel like someone drawing on your skin with a needle, or something like that? Just wondering; I'd really like to get a tattoo on my leg and I heard it's painful...?

Like the person below said- just make sure to keep it washed and clean- like with a scrape or cut.
ductape_n_roses answered Friday July 20 2007, 10:22 pm: Well, I have friends who got tattoos.
And from what I've heard, they hurt & can get very easily infected if you don't take care of it. One of them got a tattoo and he didn't take much care for it and it was so friggin nasty. lol
So if you don't mind tolerating pain and have advil or tylenol, you should be fine =)
