What is wrong with her?

Question Posted Friday July 20 2007, 10:44 am

well my friend, lets call her sam, had told me that she was anorexic after i kept asking her why she wouldn't eat. (This was like during the last 2 months of school.) Then surprisingly she kept being that way and if she ate she would purge.
She now has a confidence about it and scince all my other friends where gone (i only have 4 3 whr gone) she would actually take food away from me saying i was FAT and that i should be like her. At lunch i would go get food and sit down and the second i would look away she'd take my food and go throw it away!

so i had to start sneaking food in during class. I was practicly starving and was getting tierd really easly in sports. It sucked. Then she goes up to my coach and said that I(me) quit! i didn't even want to quit!!!!!

Well my question is how do i get her to stop? she just won't stop! even in the summer she finds ways to keep me from eating.(my parents are often gone so she comes over,i don't want her to but i am just to gullable i guess)
HELP ME!!!!!

Well you have to stand up to her. You have to get the message clear that she is the one that is unhealthy and you don't want it to be you. You can't let her walk all over you. Not eating is very unhealthy. She will probably malnutrition. Her body is going to suffer. Her digestive system will slow down, she might lose hair, she won't be able to handle normal activity and her body might not be able to handle normal food. She is still growing she needs her nutrition. It could have permanent effects. She may have to suffer the conquiences but you can't let that happen to you. You got to be as mean as possible when you approach her. You have to point out every insecurity she may have. You have to show confidence. Tell her you don't want to look like a bald twig that has to throw up every meal and faints doing the smallest activities and ends up in the hospital monthly. You should tell her that you are proud of your body and sorry she has a problem with it. But you have to approach her about it.
