Blood Vials

Question Posted Thursday July 19 2007, 3:57 pm

Okay, so I want to get the lovers blood vials from www.bloodvials.com

I think it would be sweet to put my blood in one and have my boyfriends blood in one and then swap so we each have a necklace with eachothers most precious gift.. blood.

I need anticoagulation fluid to keep the blood from drying up in the vials. Does anyone know what I can use to do this or where I can actually get some?

Please don't say have a doctor do it for me, thats not an option right now, i know what i'm doing.

Search the web or a vitamin store for EDTA. You'll probably see it sold as a "chelating agent", this is the kind you want. I believe just mixing EDTA with blood will cause it to not coagulate. The blood will probably still rot after time, though.

Of course, you'd be better off seeing a doctor...
