You should always trust your instincts. But if its true that she WAS a rebound, that dosent mean she needs to break up with him. She should talk to him and ask him if he still has feelings for his ex. Because it could be that she was a rebound but now hes fallen in love with her and it only started as a rebound. And also, she should think about the fact that out of all the girls in the world, he chose her to use as a rebound so he must like her a little. Generally rebounds hardly last that long at all (and they've been together for 7 months). He may just be annoyed or upset that after everything his ex just totally forgot about him now. I've been there myself too when I was with someone for about half a year or so and suddenly nothing. I didn't like her after the break up but it was a little upsetting how she had simply just completely forgot after everything we had gone thorough. It might be nothing and what hesaid certainly isn't grounds enough to think he might have just used your friend as a rebound. As I said, for starters they have been together for 7 months and it's a rare thing to see a rebound last so long. [ ammo's advice column | Ask ammo A Question ]
