it burns when i go to the bathroom could i have an std
Question Posted Tuesday July 17 2007, 7:24 pm
ive been getting really bad stomach cramps and it burns when i go to the bathroom and it feels like i always have to pee.ive had sex with two different people once each but i know for sure that neither of them have an STD.. could i have one? my period is coming up soon so the cramps could be from it. whats wrong.. please help
The symptoms are almost the same as those of STDs,
Which is a good reason why those who don't have
medical knowledge shouldn't use the internet to
try and find out what is wrong with them. Just
thought I would throw that in. :)
Here are the symptoms of a UTI
Pain or burning during urination
More frequent urination (or waking up at night to urinate)
The sensation of not being able to hold urine
The sensation of not being able to urinate easily or completely (or feeling that you have to urinate but only a few drops of urine come out)
You may or may not have these symptoms too...
Cloudy, bad smelling, or bloody urine
Lower abdominal pain
Mild fever (less than 101°F),
chills
"just not feeling well"
Here is a website for more information.
My advice, See your doctor. It is very
common for girls to have a UTI. Nobody
will assume it is related to sex. :)

#1. First, I'd try drinking lots of water, because that may be the reason that it burns when you pee, unless it really is an STD.
#2. Wait until your period is over, when it is, and if you still have really bad cramps and it still burns when you pee, I'd see a doctor just to be safe. It might be nothing, but than again, it may be something.
I'd get yourself checked out ASAP, because even though your partners didn't have an STD, it doesn't mean that you don't...
