Ringing in my ears.

I have this terrible ringing in my ears.
It just came on really suddenly and it wont stop!
I haven't gone to any concerts lately, and I don't play my iPod loud.
It's weird because I cant really hear.
Anybody know what this is or how to stop it?

It sounds like Tinitus, not a nice thing to have and can be difficult to get rid of. You need to see your doctor for a proper diagnosis, but I've included a website to give you more information.

Look at the first answer, there is a lot of good information.

I recommend going to the doctors, how long has it been doing this? If it is more than a few days, go to the doctor.
