I'm atheletic, but I'm not as thin as I'd wish/I still have a little pudge. I'm able to push myself when doing activites. So basically, how many lunges should I do a day to see results? I don't want to be doing too little. I don't want to start out with 20 or whatever, I want to know what a GOOD amount to do daily is.
Melody answered Sunday July 15 2007, 11:46 am: If a pudge is what you want to get rid of, crunches or sit-ups would be more effective than lunges. For situps, you should start off doing about 15 three days a week. Then move it up to 20, and so on. For crunches, you could probably start off with about 30. Usually you don't start feeling the burn until about 10 or so, so 30 would be effecient.
If you would just prefer to do lunges, 15 a day would be good. Do these 3 or 4 times a week. You can move up to about 20 when you feel you are ready to. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]
