Scholarship help!!

Question Posted Saturday July 14 2007, 11:09 pm

I will be a senior this coming school year and I need to apply for scholarships and everything. This summer, I've been working at a camp called Wonderland Camp for kids and adults with mental and physical disabilities. Both my mother and father are on social security. I'm in the top 5 percent of my class. I'm also a vegetarian. My family and I also live under the poverty level..

With these that I listed above..what kinda of scholarships and stuff can I apply for to get into college?
Websites and names of scholarships would be so helpful!

My brother is a senior and he is doing something called ROTC. Its government and you have to put in like 4 years after college in the military but i'm pretty sure its for 4 years and you are not enlisted or active duty. They pay for your college and you dont have to pay it back. You can also sign up and fill out your application and you can take it and if you decide after they pay for your first year you dont want to do it than they will only make you pay back that amount of money they gave you INTEREST FREE. Even if you decide after all 4 years of college they pay for you dont want to do it than you have to pay it back after college interest free. Look it up because i think it is a great thing. Even if your not interested in military just look at it if your curious. Hope i Helped.

I'm going to give you the website that has helped me the most (I'm also a rising senior).
www.fastweb.com

It asks for some information then sends you links to your e-mail about scholarships that match your qualities, etc.

Like I've always been interested in edcaution and careeres similar to it. So I've got stuff like that listed for possible majors and it sends me e-mails every time it recognizes a scholarship I could possibly get.

Also, go to www.collegeboard.com if you don't already have an account there. It's a good site for help with anything college related.

If you have anymore questions about related websites then feel free to let me know. I'm in a rush and that fastweb was the first site that came to mind (mainly because I always have e-mails from them.) Good luck, you'll probably do well getting the scholarships. I'm a nervous wreck about it haha.
