normal?

Question Posted Saturday July 14 2007, 8:00 pm

15/f about 5'2 95-97lbs

Is that normal? I have been rail thin/stick skinny my whole life and a lot of people think I have an eating disorder. Infact one time I didnt have lunch and I made a comment about it and how I was hungry and she was like "Oh, thats how you do it".

Sometimes I look in the mirror and I feel wide. I started eating very healthy except on the weekends Im more lenient(sp).

if you eat than there's really nothing wrong with you. you probably have a fast matabolism so you don't gain so much weight when you do eat.
don't listen to all the girls who call you anerexic or that you have an eating disorder. people get jealous easily and take it out on you guys.
i wouldn't worry so much about your weight if i were you.

hope i helped.

My friend has the same problem and she does NOT have an eating disorder. She's just naturally really skinny but she eats normally, if not a little more. Except it's more of unhealthy stuff than square meals. Anywhos, her mom made her go to the nutritionist because she kept on losing weight. I don't know what really went on but you should schedule an appointment with a nutritionist sometime soon =) Good luck.

Hello.

First off- here's this great site that can help:
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

And according to that, and me:
Your BMI [Body Mass Index] is 17.6

The chart on the left says:
BMI Categories:

* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater

And I, along with this calculator think you are way underweight.

EAT SOME FOOD! And please get to a doctor to get help... sometimes you can't gain weight healthily on your own.
