chloekc answered Wednesday July 11 2007, 1:56 pm: Some of this may not be exactly what you asked but i wrote this to someone else, the bottom line is though, no the isn't a way to get rid of them only fade them.
Stretch marks can be due to weight gain, medication, sudden growth or many other reasons including genetics.. [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
thats a really good website about them:)
I know they're annoying, i was in the same situation as you (mine have faded over time and due to the thing i will mention in a moment) You can't get rid of them but they will fade over time and there's lots of cream etc to fade them. The oil i used/use is bio oil which helps fade scars and stretchmarks. I found it take a few months to fade them but you start noticing the results after about a month which is good when you think stretchmarks take years to fade!

IF you have the money to, you can get laser to reduce them but i think it wouldn't be worth the money as they still don't get rid of them!Take a look at those websites though, i hope they help you:) [ chloekc's advice column | Ask chloekc A Question ]
babyygirlx18 answered Wednesday July 11 2007, 1:49 pm: well i've heard of this lotion it's called Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Cream For Stretch Marks. you can try that, and you can get it anywhere, CVS, target, rite aid, any drugstore/supermarket.
phatdopelove answered Wednesday July 11 2007, 12:30 pm: Stuff like ,Vitamin E and Coccoa butter can help to help it feel soft, but it doesn't really make them go away, you can buy a cocoa butter stick at wal-mart in the skin care sections also Retin-A can help reduce the appearance. OR you can see a dermatologist to perform laser surgery or a microdermabrasion but I warn it's pretty pricey! Hope this helps. [ phatdopelove's advice column | Ask phatdopelove A Question ]
