are there any asians here with dyed hair like blue, green, purple, or pink? how do i do it without looking like an anime character?

I've seen many Asians with dyed hair and it looks great. I don't see how they look like an anime character though?
Do you mean the full on pink or green hair that you usually see in anime shows?
You don't have to dye your whole head though. Make some peekaboos. Under your bangs or underneath your hair. Some streaks in your bangs or dye the edges of your hair.. You could always leave bleach on your hair for a little and just have the color come out darker than bright.
But you'll look fine and not so.. anime-like. I doubt anyone would be looking at you in that way.

my friend once did it, I think it would look uberly awesome, with either doing a very dark, deep purple on top, or maybe have your hair layered and have the bottem layer maybe a little bit brighter purple. my friends done it before, shes also had it a dark crimson red. looks seriously hard core. as for pink or green, i'd just do the tips.

hm.. i know there used to be this girl on disney channel with the tips of her hair dyed red.. her hair looked really cool..
i say to go for it. i doubt you'll look like an anime character, unless your makeup is like, hardcore heavy and crazy, haha.
what i'd reccomend, is frosting your tips with a bright color, or just getting plain hilights. if you'd like to try with temporary dye, first, i'd say to go for it. better safe, than sorry :)
