hotpotato answered Monday July 9 2007, 2:38 pm: You're a tomboy, tell him that and that he needs to deal with it. Ask him why it bothers him so much that you do these things. It doesn't make you any less of a girl if you skate or play football. If he is worried you may turn out to be a lesbian or something, ask him about it. Also, inform him about this "emo" business and that it does not mean you're into drugs and generally, help him dispel the stereotypes that go along with the "emoness". He is just worried that you're changing and needs to understand that you are just you and he should love you no matter what you are. [ hotpotato's advice column | Ask hotpotato A Question ]
