One a Day vitamins

Question Posted Friday July 6 2007, 9:37 am

Well I got these One a Day Flinstone vitamins and I was wondering what would happen if I took more than one? Would there be a lot of harm or fatal harm?

Cuz I remember my cousin had these long time ago and when she wasn't looking, I'd grab like a handful and shove them in my mouth because they taste so yummy and frankly I'm having a hard time right now trying to avoid that.

Actually, extreme overdose of certain vitamins can indeed kill you, or cause severe damage. Google "vitamin overdose" and you'll bring up many, many pages. This one in particular might be useful to you: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

An extra one now and again won't hurt you, but it's not a very good idea. If you feel the need to munch on something sweet, you'd probably be safer going with low-calorie hard candies.

Well it won't kill ya, but it is NOT healthy. AND if they are the flinstones with IRON. All that extra iron will make you constipated. And you'll get a stomach ache. So I don't recommend it. Isn't there something else you could eat?

Serious problems happen when you take a LOT, like Jack mentioned half a bottle. Some people actually HAVE to take two or three a day, for something like an iron deficiency. I wouldn't recommend taking more than two or three, if that.

I certainly don't think they would hurt you. Here is the official website. Maybe you can find information there: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Yeah- it would probably be bad if you ate the entire bottle [or close to half] at once... can you say sugar rush? I'd say that having 3 or 4 at once wouldn't be fatal. You can't die from eating vitamins. =]
