Nose Piercing
Hey guys. I'm 14 and I want my nose pierced.
1. Do you think that's a good age?
I won't be considered a whore right?
2. How can I talk my parents into letting me get it done?
3. Is it painful to get done?
4. How much does it usually cost?

I haven't had mine done, but my stepmom did& shes answering a few of them.
1. I personally don't think you should get it done at 14, because welll I just don't like it,& yes I think its kinda slutty- but thats just me.
2. tell them that you're not doing it to follow the crowd, you're doing it because you truly like it& you want it done- provide them w/ alot of information about it so they know that you're serious about it& if you can say you'll get the money for it by yourself.
3. she said that her eyes watered but your tounge hurts more& on a scale of 1-10 it was 6.

I think 14 might be a bit young, but it's your body and you do what you want with it. If you're mature enough to handle the extensive care that comes along with it then go right on ahead and do it!
Tell your parents that you want to get it pierced to help express your individual personality. Tell then you wont get one of those aweful rings and you will wear a tiny stud instead. If they say they don't want to see it then just say that you will put in a clear space while you're around them AFTER it heals, you don't want an infection.
It's not really painful if you get it done by a professional because it's quick. Your eyes WILL water. I pierced mine myself and it didn't hurt much.
How much it cost depends on the area you live in. It should cost somewhere between $30 and $50.
Just remember to clean it like the piercer tells you and DO NOT under ANY circumstances change it until you're told to, even if it feels good and looks like it's healed.

I got my nose peirced at the end of last year and i was 14 then! I am now 15 and i love my peircing soo much!
All of my friends love it too.
My mum took me to get it done, and it cost $45. I was pretty nervous but my mum assured me i would be fine as she had got hers done a week before!!
They use a needle and tell you not to look. You feel a little sting in your nose and it hurts a tiny bit, but is over in no time!! It is so quick you dont even realize. Your eyes will water and then youll be done!!
The best way to talk your parents into is to say that you are really interested in getting your nose done. Come to some agreement by saying you will wash the car or do the dishes for one whole week. Also you age 14, and obviously a responsible teenager who can make their on decisions.
Other then that a nose peircing is fantastic!! You will get so much attention and you will certainly NOT be called a whore!!

i think it's a fine age, i'm 14 and i know a lot of people with it done. and no you won't be considerede a whore most likely.
ask your parents and see what they say. if no then explain that it is your body and it could teach you responsibility by having to clean it and take care of it. [offering to pay for it could help a lot also]
the people i know who have gotten it done said the pain isn't bad at all. it's for like a split second.
and it usually costs around $30.

I don't think you're too young.
I know quite a few people who have theirs done and I'm 15.
Just ask them, see what they say. If they say no, don't whine or anything. Just calmly ask why? And explain that it's your body and you want to do what you want with it.
I've heard (from a close friend) it's not painful to get it done, only after it feels a bit tender.
I'm not sure on cost.
It all depends on where you get it done.
