toning up

Question Posted Wednesday July 4 2007, 2:36 am

17/f, 5'8ish, 150lbs. I want to tone up, like my legs, stomach, and butt. My thighs and butt are big and I don't like it. I want to be able to wear shorter skirts without feeling self-concious. What can I do to sort of lose weight, tone up, in my legs and butt? School starts mid-August so I wanted pretty good results by then. Thanks!

Pilate's and Yoga would be great for what you want to do...I would also suggest some really simple additional core exercises...but I really think you'll see a great difference with Pilate's and yoga
