I have these 2 guy "friends" that i hang out with and talk to and got to know pretty well through the year. (they are both going into college and are called "players" by alot of people). I don't like either of them, i just think they are really cool and fun to be around, but i dont really think they like hanging out with me. One of them likes to text and we text all the time, and the other is my neighbor and he comes over alot to hangout. When we are in person they are really nice, but when ever i ask to go hang out at the movies or something, they usually dont reply the text after i ask, or something. Are they really my friends or are they just bored and hanging out with me to be nice? Or am i jumping to conclusions?

Sean27 answered Monday November 19 2007, 6:24 pm: I think what seems to be going on here from an outsider perspective is that the two guys are simply bored, simple minded guys who want nothing more than another girl they can be seen with to look good, or to make themselves feel god. From what you've told me, it seems like they really don't care a whole lot about you, there just a couple of guys who want nothing more than simple friendship, no strings attacthed.
Not to say thats a bad thing by any means, most people don't look for that deep friendship connection right off the bat anyways. Give it some time to develop perhaps, let the test of time itself determine if their your true friends or not. :)
