if i have a ibook g4
and it has 512 mb of built in memory

is it possible to get a 1 gb of add on memory

would the computer let you do this?

not sure if that makes sense but thanks in advance.

I have the ibook g4.Using it now. I had memory added before I purchased it. Take your ibook to the nearest mac store. Talk to the people behind the genius bar. You can call the mac store to ask. it should be possible. Mac on!!!!!

Yes, that's possible. I have no clue how to install memory on an ibook manually; I've never even touched an Apple computer, so take it to wherever you bought it and they'll upgrade it for you.
