Hello:]! I just bought the Clairol Natural Instincts hair product. I want it to make my hair lighter, but on the box in the lower corner it says "covers gray naturally", and then in the instructions it says to add to the darkest, or grayest parts of hair. I am confused to whether it covers gray, or covers all of my hair.
I am 15, so I dont have gray hair yet. Has anyone used this, and can they explain whether it lightens my regular hair?
It will act on regular hair, as well as regular hair. However, don't expect it to go as light as the colour on the box, because it's more to add dimension to your hair colour, rather than bleach it (which is what you need). [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]

No worries, it will color your hair just fine.
Color root to tip- roots are the darkest because they haven't been sun exposed as much as the tips.

hope this helps! [ katiekat's advice column | Ask katiekat A Question ]
