hey. ok, well i'm 14/f. and i was reading the new issue or seventeen or something, and i read this article about runaways. and at the bottom of the article they gave a number for people who are thinking about running away, and it said that they did counsling and stuff. well, i've been thinking about calling that number, but will that number show up on my phone bill? because i don't want my parents to see the number, because it's a 1-800 number. now, i don't want you guys to tell me to not run away, because i don't think i will, but i will admit that i have thought about it before. i just want to know if it will show up on the bill. eaither on the home phone or cell phone. thanks. bye.

LM answered Monday July 2 2007, 11:39 pm: Cell phones don;t usually show a record of every phone number called, but your parents can request it if they're suspicious. A lot of those numbers don't show up on phone bills. Plus, if you use a cellphone [ assuming its not a prepaid ] at night, it won't even count against your minutes!
Hope everything works out, and I'm glad you're looking for advice and guidance as opposed to actually running away. This site's a good place to ask if you need another perspective. We're here to help you with just about ANYTHING, really! [ LM's advice column | Ask LM A Question ]
