crest whitestrips.

Question Posted Monday July 2 2007, 10:49 pm

i'm about to use the crest whitestrips classic kit. but i think i might have a cavity. it doesn't hurt and it's pretty small, but i'm really sure if it's a real cavity or not (as i've never had one before). is it safe to use the whitestrips even with this cavity, if it is one? it doesn't say anything on the insert in the package or online.

ive been using the premium plus strips for the past few days, same basic thing. i actually have a minor cavity in one of my teeth. the first few times i did it, it hurt a bit, but the past 2 times it hasnt. the strips actually make all of your teeth a little sore. good luck

Yeah, it's safe. Teeth hurt sometimes as they grow in/shift. If you had a cavity, you probably wouldn't be able to touch your teeth at all. The whitestrips make your teeth sensitive. So look out for that.

If your tooth continues to hurt, see a dentist. It'll put your mind at ease & they'll be able to fix the problem, if you have one at all.

;D

You should be fine to use even if you have a cavity, but i would start with only using them once a day instead of twice to be sure because the white strips can make your teeth really sore. If they are fine at once a day, then moving up to twice would be fine

I hope this helps :D
