I suggest you start off by running, and combine that with curl ups. Than you'll see really great results if you commit. Remember, exercise isn't everything. Eating healthy is also a very important part to getting in shape.
And about getting skinny and getting abs, I'm not sure how much baby fat you have. So it all depends. But my bet is that it may take a little longer than that. But if you work really hard, what's not to be possible =]

I have a friend who told me that when she wanted to lose weight in her stomach, she started visiting websites for women who'd just given birth. She told me that they have the best tips on how to exercise and diet to lose weight fast and keep it off. It sounds silly, but it makes sense.
If you want to lose weight elsewhere (possibly your thighs), running or bicycling will definitely help. There are some general exercises that targets more than one area (such as jumping jacks and simple aerobics), and the good thing about aerobics is that doing a 15 minute session three to four times a week should help you to see results. Good luck! :) [ soundslikepink's advice column | Ask soundslikepink A Question ]
