Firstly, your going to need a good volumizing hairspray. Pantene works really well for this.

Make sure your hair is straight or wavy, just not curly or frizzy. Flip your hair a few times and spray it down with the hairspray. Spray a fair amount. Comb the knots out, but leave it kind of stiff.

Take about half of your hair, leaving some side pieces looks really cute and tease it. This link will show you how to do that.

Loosely bobbypin the teased hair back and sweep the rest of your hair back into a loose ponytail.

Spray down your ponytail with a finishing coat of hairspray.
