I have a training schedule that I have to follow this summer in order to be prepared and able to run about 5 miles a day for a sport when school starts in September. For my training, everyday I have to run 1-3 miles depending on the amount of time i have been on the schedule. I haven't started yet, but if i do this all through July and August is there a chance I will be able to slim down my thighs, or will it bulk them up? Thanks!
Laf16 answered Wednesday June 27 2007, 10:10 pm: running breaks down muscle.. it leans them out
lifting high weight for and low reps will bulk them out..
i'm a huge runner/ love track...
so if you don't weight lift or you just do a lot of reps with little weight along with running it will slim them down [ Laf16's advice column | Ask Laf16 A Question ]

You'll most likely slim down,
and then gain muscle.
Which won't look the same as gaining fat.
It will look much healthier.
