Computer curiousity?!

Question Posted Tuesday June 26 2007, 5:09 pm

Ok well my computer was running out of space so I deleted over 200 pictures and when I checked at how many MB I have left it was still the same number. Why?

Assuming you have windows, since most people do, go to Start > Accesories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter

It will take a while, especially if you have had your computer for a while, but it should free up some space on your computer.

hey

uh sillyrob is kinda weird cause you said that you removed them from the recycling bin...

anywayy babe the problem is probably that you need to delete some more stuff. you probably have SO much random stuff on your computer that deleting 200 pics probably isn't enough.

it's like, imagine a biggg bin of garbage. you get rid of a couple cans... it doesn't really make a difference. you gotta delete some more stuff for it to make a difference.

or, just try restarting your comp. maybe it didn't register that they got deleted.

Have you actually taken them out of the recycle bin? They're not gone until you completely remove them.
