Question Posted Monday June 25 2007, 11:39 pm

I feel like such an asshole.
I don't even know if I should.

ugh.

So I like this boy right and today was our last final so me and some friends were just hanging out in this part of the school so I was going to walk down this one hallway then I saw this guy I like coming. I was like "SHIT" and ran to the next hallway. I'm pretty sure he saw me make a bolt for it considering that my friends were yelling "HEY <my name here> WHY ARE YOU AVOIDING THIS HALLWAY?"

I feel like a jerk.
I don't even know why I ran.
I like him so much and idk it was just impulse?

I was planning on asking him out on friday (since we go in for report cards then we're done school) but I dont even know if I can look at him without feeling horrible.

Should I feel bad?
I don't know what to think.
It probably sounds really reallllyyy stupid.
I don't know what to do :(

no, you shouldnt feel stupid. if anything, your friends should feel stupid for calling you out like that in front of him. they shouldnt have done that. the best thing for you to do is just to talk to him and pretend that it never happened, if your awkward around him then he'll know that you were avoiding him. be confident and he will just think that you and your friends were being silly. if he does ask you about it, just laugh and say no i wasnt avoiding you. tell him you and your friends were playing a game or something but then just drop it and ask him about hanging out. guys dont think things through like that so im sure he'll forget about it.

Hey, well i can just tell you now that if your running away from him in a hallway, a relationship between you two wont work out. But anyways if you should feel bad or not depends on if he likes you back or not. If he does, yeah, you should feel bad. That was a bitchy thing to do if you know that he likes you. You could have also lost an opportunity. Who knows - maybe he was gonna go up to you and talk to you or maybe even ask you out. I would talk to him on aim, myspace, or the phone to clear things up and let him know thats theres no hard feelings.

I say still ask him out.. I bet that if a few weeks, months, years even you'll be kicking youself if you didn't.

If he ever happens to say anything about you running away just say it had nothing to do with him.. you didn't even see him there but you were running from a teacher or something.. or a geeky kid that likes you.

Simple.. then who knows if you two get close that'll be something to talk and laugh about down the track.

Lurve makes people do crazy things.. this was just a crazy thing ;)

Good luck asking him out.
