ok so im home alone and i can not cook from a recipe, i'll burn it even if i sit in front of the stove and watch it. so i need some ideas for lunch. i have chicken, pastas, gravy, cheese and spices and probably some other basic ingredients. but what can i make?

You can put broil the chicken (put it in a saucepan, which is a deep frying pan, put some water and butter in it... juss enough to almost cover the chicken and put it on medium low), if its chicken breast. And then boil your pasta until you can take a piece out and taste it and its soft like you would like it. Then put some chicken and the pasta and eat that together... season with salt and pepper and maybe some parsley... and sprinkle some cheese over the chicken as well.
Or you can just cook the pasta and then when its done, drain the water and put the gravy on that.
Or make a salad with the chicken after you broil it.

Cux answered Monday June 25 2007, 5:09 pm: If you have tortilla chips, and salsa, you could put the chips in the microwave with some cheese on them for about 45 seconds. Then put the salsa on, and any other stuff (black olives, green onions, tomatoes, lettuce) that you want, and you have a nice plate of nachos.
