Converting AVI files to another type!

Question Posted Monday June 25 2007, 7:31 am

Well my computer is running out of space because I download so many eposodes of dramas.

I'm thinking of burning them onto a disk so I could then remove them form my computer and save some space but it won't allow me to because it says that my Nero Fast CD-Burning Plug In (from my media player) says it can't work with AVI stuff but WMA, and some others.

Is there a way to change the type so i can burn it?

Additional info, added Monday June 25 2007, 1:02 pm:
and if it's a program, is it safe and has no virus? My virus scaner is kinda broken..

It'll be better if you converted stuff for me but if it works good then thank you very much

**Edit: The program Antnorwe links to is shareware, and I wouldn't recommend it. Neither of us link to viruses. I can convert things for you if you really want to take the time to upload everything. If you do, upload it to gigasize( [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ) and send the link to theymos@lycos.com **

I'd usually recommend zamzar( [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ), but since you need to convert a lot of files, use this:

Converting video takes a long time, about 2x longer than it takes to watch it.

You can use this free tool to burn any file to a cd or dvd:

There is plenty of free software available on the internet to convert from AVI to any other type.

Here is a link to a free converter :)
