when i straighten my hair (on a daily basis), after a long day it flips and waves at the bottom because i tuck my hair behind my ears pretty often. but my birthday is coming up and i can ask for a chi straightener. i was wondering if they really are worth the money and would prevent my hair from "unstraightening" during the day? also, any recommendations as to which one i should get (in the chi line) would be helpful. (:

but with a chi my hair doesn't unstraighten as much as it did with my old conair straightener.

I`ve had mine for about a year now & I l-o-v-e it. My hair stays straight during the WHOLE day. I just have the plain one -- It`s black & has tan plates & says Global Beauty on the top. Plus, it doesn`t damage it as much as my old ones.
Also, make sure you protect it. Try getting this stuff called BioSilk. It`s kinda expensive, but it is worth it & it makes your hair verrrrrry shiney. & when you wash it, use a shampoo for dry or damaged hair unless it makes your hair to oily. & make sure to deep condition is at least twice a week to keep it from getting dried out. I have the same problem! lol!

If you don't it to do that just like don't put your hair behind your ears, but make sure to keep it out of your face. The chi straightener only straightens very well, is better for your hair, has ceramic plates, basically it gives you less split ends and straightens amazingly well.
