I brush my teeth everyday and try to hard to keep them white. I've used trays and whitening toothpaste. I wanted to know of something you have personally used that had good results. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something.

My orthodontist gave me a prescription for a toothpaste called Ethedent and it works really great.
You just use it before you go to bed and when you wake up your teeth are usually noticeably whiter.
But you'd have to ask your dentist about it. :] [ X_Amanda_X's advice column | Ask X_Amanda_X A Question ]
Hollister answered Thursday June 21 2007, 4:38 am: Certain foods like strawberries and lemon make your teeth naturally whiter. I use Crest Whitestrips, (I think theyre about 40?) and those work really good for me. I use the ones that you put on for 30 minutes, once in the morning and once at night. Theyre kind of a lot, but seriously, its worth it. You can buy them from most drugstores:) [ Hollister's advice column | Ask Hollister A Question ]
WhenIComeAround answered Thursday June 21 2007, 4:03 am: Floss helped me, it got rid of plaque inbetween my teeth that could get onto my teeth and make them go brown.
Also use that bacteria killing mouthwash, that really helps too.
pootietang answered Thursday June 21 2007, 3:45 am: Have you tried using an electric toothbrush? Ever since I started using mine, my teeth look whiter. If you use an electric toothbrush, whitening toothpaste, and whitening mouthwash, your teeth should get whiter in a week.

I am not really sure but I got it from my dentist. Also whitestrips work. [ acetrace92's advice column | Ask acetrace92 A Question ]
