im 15/f and the only makeup i usually wear is a little bit of black eyeliner. if i dont wear eyeliner i think i look gross haha. but anyway i need some new makeup and i need help with what to use. i always always always have bags under my eyes and i hate it! they never go away! and sometimes they are dark so i guess i need some good coverup. i have big green eyes and brown hair but the front of it if blonde because of the sun and it's my baby hair, i never dyed it. my skin is kind of olivey i get tan in the summer but sometimes my face stays a little fairer and i get freckles under my eyes. what would work for me?

I find that CoverGirl works the best for me. Mascara may be good too... if you want something subtle but nice, try Clinique, long & pretty. I swear, if you use a eyelash comb afterwards, it comes out better than those headshots of celebrities on the cover of magazines, lol. You also may want to try an eyeliner that works for you; with your green eyes, brown eyeliner may be the best. Some bronzer might make your skin shine even more. And, of course, a touch of lip gloss wouldn't hurt. Pale lips are in, so dab some of your new concealer onto your lips and then a very light, almost-clear gloss.
raychullx answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 6:39 pm: what is your price range?
you could get make up products like MAC, they're good, quality cosmetics, but they don't come at a cheap price.. haha
Try visiting www.mac.com to check out prices
If you're not looking to spend a lot of money, you could try getting cosmetics from an Ulta store. They have products like covergirl, rimmel, revlon and such.. but they also have their own line of cosmetics.. and they always have sales.
www.ulta.com
Make up you could try using is:
1.Liquid Foundation evens out your skin tone and gets rid of blemishes: $6.00 at Ulta
2.Mineral powder foundation finishes the look: $7.00 at Ulta
3.Eyeshadow. Green eyes look best in colors like brown.. it really brings them out. $3.50-$5.00 at Ulta (try using brown or brown/black eyeliner)
4.Mascara (try Almay for green eyes.. it has hints of green in it that can bring out your eyes a lot) $3.50 at ulta
Tools are also really important when doing make up.
Be sure you use brushes.. and never those little stick things that come with eyeshadow.. you cannot blend eyeshadow very well with them.
Tools you can use are:
1.Smudge Brush for eyes $4.00
2.6 peice brush set: $1.99
3.Wedged eyeshadow brush:$1.99
caligirl09 answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 6:09 pm: you sound exactley like me. well skin and hair and everything wise. i have olivey baseish skin, with freckles that come out in the sun other wise are hidden. i have brown hair with baby blonde hairs on my hair line and i dont die them ethier, BUT i have some good make up tips. iv gone threw SO many different combonations. but my favorite is the one i have now. barely any. like you if i dont put concealer or foundation on i look scary and i used to think i looked horriable with out eyeliner but you dont need it.
SO...
find a foundation (i use liquid covergirl number 130) and i usally put it under my eyes and nose and chin and eyelids. blend REALLLLLLY WELL. make sure you get the right color of your skin type other words youll look blotchy.
then i used a bronzer instead of powder. (powder makes you look cake-y, and you dont want that) so i use a bronzer ( i get at target) and i use an application brush and tap it on the bronzer and then tap the excess of the brush and dust it all over my face EVENLY. if needed use your fingers to blend.
then i used mascara. i put two coats on my top lashes and enough mascara on my bottoms to make them look a littl fuller and give some color so i DONT have to use eyeliner. make sure to get it on your skin you might look like a racoon..so aim for lashes only. haha.
and SOMETIMES i put a hint of blush on the apples of my cheeks but its rare. If you execute everything right it should turn out wonderful it works for me, and i get compliments so try it and see how it goes for you. sometimes it may take time and practice to get the result you are aiming for.
what i use :
FOUNDATION- Covergirl "Clean Makeup" Classic Beige ( It's in a bottle usually with a white or blue cap.)
BRONZER- H.I.P "high intensity pigments" GLWOING 893 (its a console with a mirror and brush on the other side.)
MASCARA- Maybelline New York Define lashes (in the GREEN tube)
BLUSH- (the blush i use is also bronzer-ish)Lancome Color Desgin Shimmer (use on apples ONLY)
Erinn_the_bamf answered Wednesday June 20 2007, 6:03 pm: I think I look gross without eyeliner too haha. Anyway buy a powder cover-up. Since it's the summer, you don't want your face to be too oily, which liquid might cause your face to be. Also under your eyes use concealer to cover dark circles. Mascara would be nice to. Stick to black or brown for your eye liner. The best place to find this stuff is in your local CVS or pharmacy. Department store make -up gets pretty expensive, so doing to a drug store will keep you from spending too much. [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
