Bathing suit

Question Posted Monday June 18 2007, 5:32 pm

Hey im going to an amusement park soon and i really don't want to wear a bathing suit. I was thinking of just waering my bathing suit under and a t-shirt, do you think that would be okay? Also if i do that, then i wouldnt be allowed to go on any of the water rides because it is not permitted. I have very wide sides, so im not sure what to do. Any advice?
Thanks in advance

You're absoutly right. You won't be allowed on most of the water slides.

I live in Ohio, and I went to Geauga lake, which has wild water kingdom. It is an outside water park.

I decided that since a lot of people do it, that i'd wear denim shorts, and a bathing suit top. So I did.
Little did I know, people don't do that anymore. When I tried to go on the slide, they told me to take my pants off!

I WASN'T EVEN ABLE IN THE WAVE POOL!!

I was forced to buy shorts for 20 dollars.

My friend also tried to wear a shirt, just a plain white tee shirt. She wasn't allowed on anything either.

Even if you don't want to, get a tankini. They have a bunch of cute ones out this year, try TJ Maxx, Target, Pacsun, or anywhere.

But don't wear a shirt. Swimming trunks [ for girls ] will be fine, but don't wear denim shorts, and don't wear a shirt!!

Hope I helped!!

Either get a cover-up with no zippers or anything like that, that's made of bathing suit material, or get a bathing suit that covers more of your body. Or wear your bathing suit with confidence, and just go to the park and have a good time. You could always wear a [hopefully lightcolored] t-shirt until it's your turn on the ride, and just tie it to your arm. They sometimes let people do that on rides. But if you wear a shirt, you'll end up with some really intersting tan lines and your shoulders will be PALE. Whatever you decide, wear sunblock & reapply it at least once. Wrinkles don't compliment ANYONE.

Try wearing a tanktop. That way you can get some sun & your bathing suit will still show. You shouldn't be too self-concious about it though. People come in all different shapes & sizes. I know that sounds corny but it's true. Maybe try getting a new bathing suit before you go. One that really fits you well. There are extremely cute one pieces nowadays that cover up your sides. If not, just wear a tanktop & shorts or something. If you really want to wear a tshirt, try it. Every amusement park is usually a bit different. Try finding out online before you go. If not, there's nothing wrong with wearing your bathing suit.

-hope that helped!♥
