period ive been trying to lose weight lately, so ive been eating about 1000-1500 calories a day. im 5'9 and not sure how much i weigh, but last i check was about 130. could i possibly skip my period or have a very light period from not eating enough for my body to function properly?

yes, it's possible for you to miss a period or have a light one, but it's not very likely.
don't go below 1200 a day, that's just unsafe.
