I don't suggest going and playing with him, it might be too obvious if he is the type that alot of people like. If possible, just wait for an opportunity and always be looking for one, if you do this then you're sure to eventually get an opportunity to get a word in with him and if you say the right things and peak his interests a word will turn into a conversation and so on. If you see him playing sports one day, why dont you join him? You might either: be turned off, which I advise to forget him and move on.. or find some more common interests. Besides, he might even fall for you if you do it right... ;)
