whatever07 answered Sunday June 17 2007, 6:53 pm: I like to have something like playing in my room.
whether it's the sound of the tv, or my music. i dont know why, but it helps me sleep. if not maybe try counting sheep :) but i hope the new school works out for you, you will do just fine! [ whatever07's advice column | Ask whatever07 A Question ]
NoLies_JustLove answered Sunday June 17 2007, 6:50 pm: I used to be nervous about everything and was practically an insomniac because I could never fall asleep before like 1:00 lol. But I remember the thing that freaked me out the most was thinking "Omg I'm never gonna fall asleep; everyone else is probably asleep right now except for me." But there are a lot of people who have trouble sleeping at night, too, including myself. Try buying that lavender-scented stuff that you could put on your pillow; lavender is supposed to calm your nerves. You could try doing something that will make you bored and tired, like reading an instruction manual or counting the number of dots on your ceiling haha. I heard if you concentrate on relaxing every muscle in your body while laying, you'll get tired and want to fall asleep. Or you could drink non-caffinated tea or get some kind of sleep medication. If you can't fall asleep, it's not the end of the world; just watch TV or read a book until you're tired. The bottom line is, just try not to get wound up about school while trying to sleep...but if you can't, try the other random things I just mentioned haha. Good luck and...goodnight. =) [ NoLies_JustLove's advice column | Ask NoLies_JustLove A Question ]
