Look at your similaritys.. you both love sports. First talk to him about that and then tell him something that he will think not a lot of people will know so he thinks that you think you can confide in him. And it really isnt that hard to talk to boys.. I mean not trying to sound mean just laugh loud but not obnoxus infront of him and tell him whats so funny. Anything that will start a conversation..

You tell me you both play sports and that's a good thing. Guys who play sports really like athletic girls. You need to flirt with him a lot but not just him. Make sure to flirt with other guys so there is competition among them and he will think about you. If all you do is flirt with him he will sense there is no challenge and forget about you.
