16th Birthday Party.. Need Help With Ideas
Hey.. im turning 16 on July 30th.. about a month and a half away and i needed ideas on how to make this a memorable birthday party. Its going to have both guys and girls (perhaps) and i was thinkin of havin a luau... but i have no idea how to make a birthday party like that. Any suggestions?

Depending on where your from there should be some kind of art store that sells the little Luau skirts. You could actually hang those up for decorartion and have everyone where their bathing suits. Get those little flower necklaces and if there's a beach nearby that's where the party can be hosted. I mean if you get the little luau party favors with good music maybe even a little dance coreographed by you and your close friends on a beach I think that would be great. Also include tiki torches.

I think a Luau theme would be a good idea since your birthday is in the summer. Either that or maybe a beach/ocean theme. Here are a few ideas-
Luau Theme:
Hula dancer statues [small ones]
Decorated cups/napkins/plates/utensils
Hawaiin flowers
Lais
Hula skirts for the girls
Hawaiin shirts for the guys
Hawaiin music [google]
Fruit for snacks
Hawaiin pizza
Hawaiin cake
Beach/Ocean Theme:
Bathing suits
Dirt/Sand dessert [google]
Dolphin decorations
Real sand [party city]
Picnic
You can always go to party city [or another store like it] & ask an employee for some ideas. Tell them you're having a sweet 16 party & you want ideas for a Luau. Also, it would be a good idea to ask some of your closer friends what they would like to do at your party. That way your guests have fun & are entertained. They can also give you food ideas.
