very senstive

Question Posted Monday June 11 2007, 4:22 pm

Ok well I'm just so super senstive and will cry at anything whihc i hate because if i'm mad at someone i would cry with all that hicupping and stuff and I can't stop even if i calm down.

When people joke around and say liek you smell and stuff i get sad too

recently i've been really sad and would talk about my problem to my friends but thye won't do anything.

Like I can tell that they really feel bad and care about it but they're not good like cheering people up and stuff it's like 'ugh..what do i say to cheer her up..'

I don't know why i even typed this up any suggestions would do =(

This is something that'll take time to get over. Trust me on that. It's going to take a while but it's well worth it.

Learn that people are ALWAYS going to talk & there is NOTHING you can do to change that. Someone is always gonna have something negative to say & someone is always going to hurt your feelings. However, what they're saying to you are just words & they don't/shouldn't do much damage. Yes, they hurt your feelings, but you know these things aren't true, so why let them bother you?

Look at it this way: If someone doesn't like you, then cool. That's their problem, not yours. If someone does like you, then that's cool too. Either way, you're still getting your 8 hours of sleep a night. Don't let the things they say affect you. Crying & being sensitive gets you nowhere in life. Learn that now because it'll prepare you for later. Trust me on that.

I used to be the same way...but truth be told...I learned to toughen up...people say stuff so much that it just gets old..you stop caring after a while...sometimes you have to make yourself stop caring...it can hurt sometimes but you can't let it get to you...there's nothing wrong with being sensitive but getting upset for small things...you have to learn how to take things...and as for the whole cheering up thing...everyone's different...my friends usually take me out for ice cream or something...we just hang out and have a good time...you have to stop worrying about everything and just learn to roll with the punches and grow a backbone...I had to learn the same lesson
