I'm trying out for vball too and you NEED to be able to do pushups because you need all the upper body strength you can get. So just do as many as you can and eventually you'll get better :)

ok, well I play volleyball for JV as well, and my coach always has us condition, and if you try hard, and work hard it should all pay off at your tryouts =) ok heres what ya do 1.do as many as you possibly can try at least 5, then every time you condition, try a few more, then a few more, and soon you'll be doin 25! and it will be sooo much easier to start off with a number you know you can do, then do a few more ever time ok?
