CLOSED VAGINA? tampon?=( Ok well you know how vagina is supposed to look like? (I can't find oen of those sketches on the internet right now..)
Well I'm 13 and i got my period 3 years ago and i'm thinking of wearing a tampon but i tried looking for it and even looked at it with the mirror but it's closed and there's no huge hole!
Looks very similar to this picture I found:

What do i do?
Is that person's vagina there in the picture? If so, where? Can you circle it or something for me with paint so i know?
If you tell me clearly that'll work too.

The link you gave us just doesn't work so we cannot help with the picture. However, there is another reason you may be having a hard time locating the vaginal opening. Your hymen sounds like it's still intact and not stretched. It partially protects the vaginal opening and around it.
You should have a look at this article and medical diagram as it clearly shows where the opening is and how it looks if your hymen is intact still which it sounds like.

Well, that picture is OF a vagina. The whole area is called the vagina. You see where it says "vaginal hole"? That's where the tampon goes. And no, it's not a "huge hole". It's not huge, but it's there.
At the top of the vagina is the clitoris (it's a very sensitive flap of skin used for sexual stimulation). A little further down is another hole (a very small one) called a urethra, where the pee comes out. In between that hole and your rectum (butt hole) is your vaginal opening.
Feel around with your finger and the only hole you'll be able to fit a finger in easily is your vaginal hole. Lay on a bed with your legs spread, put a mirror down there, and hold your lips open with your hand. You should be able to see it.
If you buy tampons, there are directions on how to properly insert one in the box. Check it out. ]
Well I can't help you with the picture, but if you put some vasaline on the tip of the tampon, and just put it where you think it should go, and push, it will go in. Try that. After a few times, you won't need to use the vasaline.

EDIT: Sure, yes it is safe to use vaseline, temporarily until you get used to it. For many years, women used vaseline as a lubricant, in that area. So no problem. NOte: although the area of the tampon that has vasaline on it will NOT be absorbant, so you may have to change it sooner, so just use a little.
