my computer shut down on me

I was doing my essay on my computer and i accident unplugged the circuit breaker thing instead of my lamp and i didnt have the essay saved. is there any way i can get it back? i dont think there is but im just asking...

nope there isent but re do it and save it like when you are half way throgugh save it then save it again when u r done
