And, anyways, you'd have to keep a big wide smile on your face the entire time just so the light will get to the inside of your mouth. And even then only your front teeth would be exposed AND you'd get white lines from grin lines. haha. So, basically, no, this isn't true.
2- From what is sounds like, you could be referring to what the person below me said OR you could be referring to the facial bulbs in the bed. If you mean the bulbs, they're just better for optimizing your facial tan. It just makes it better. It's best to keep those on if given a choice.
ALSO- The person that first answered the question says she doesn't wear the goggles. I STRONGLY suggest that you DO wear the goggles. They can cause serious eye damage even if you don't open your eyes in the bed at all. Believe me, I've seen videos. It's pretty bad. If you want to avoid white lines from the strings, you can remove them and just lay the goggles over your eyes. To avoid whiteness around your eyes (I never had a problem with it), you can move around the goggles once and a while and it will help a bunch. Mollysie answered Tuesday June 5 2007, 10:38 am: Haha no the teeth thing isn't true in most "ordinary tanning beds" maybe some. Now by facial things do you mean the goggles or the lotion? Well if you mean the lotion it will tan your face more, but protect it. The oil or lotion makes your skin tan faster, and it helps it. Now some contain sunless tanner as well but that depends on what kind you get. The goggles are to protect your eyes, I don't use goggles but you can if you want to. I hope I helped at all, if I didn't understand the questions feel free to give me bad feedback! Haha Good luck! :)
