A student of mine is very good at solving the rubic's cube, she takes only about 5 minutes to solve it.. the problem is that she is too selfish to teach us how to solve it.. and she refuses to spread the knowledge..

That may be something that gets her a lot of attention, or a lot of people think it's cool or whatever, and if everyone knew how to do it, she wouldn't have anything that unique about her. So maybe she's not being selfish, she just wants to keep that unique quality about her that she can show off.
