beckyboo answered Saturday June 2 2007, 1:00 pm: My friend got her hair Japanese straightened. It looks really good, but it's so incredibly expensive. It cost her about $800 to do it the first time, and now, everytime another 2 inches or so of hair grows back, she has to pay like $300 every other month to touch up the new hair, because it grows in curly. I'm not sure about the physical effects of it on your hair, but I do know it's going to cost you thousands of dollars. [ beckyboo's advice column | Ask beckyboo A Question ]

It damages your hair so much and when your hair starts to grow uut, the top of your hair is like all frizzy and bumpy and it looks so gross! I had a friend who got her hair chemically straightned and now her hair is really gross! i dont think there are really any pros expect its easier than straightening but than it just goes gross!
