Well the season of summer is almost here, and I have a slight problem. Due to the fact that I'm currently on medication that has weight gain as a side effect, I am now rather pudgy around the edges. I'm working to lose the weight, but in the meantime.. Does anyone have any suggestions for outfits that won't make me look like the Michelin man this summer? Any fabrics or whatever I should be looking for, swimsuit ideas, etc... Thanks ^_^
DyalPavan answered Friday June 1 2007, 10:33 pm: well since its summer avoid black although its a slimming colour anyways wear something that you feel comfortable in like shorts or a mini or long skirt with a tang top or a short sleeve t for the swim suit a one piece would look bst but shorts and a tangtop don't look bad either [ DyalPavan's advice column | Ask DyalPavan A Question ]

However, it is summer, so try to incorporate things like a black top with a jean skirt or something. Make sure your clothes are the right size, especially your shorts/skirts/jeans. If you get that muffin top effect, get a size larger. And don't wear your shirts skin tight.
As for swim suits, as I said, dark colors are always a good bet. If you want the slimming effect, get a tankini instead of a bikini. I wouldn't really recommend a one-piece unless it's particularly cute. If you have a wide butt, you can try boy cut bottoms or one of those cute sport mini skirt bottom type things.
