I think its best to tell them in person and just say that u think you should jus be friends. Or if your to shy to tell them in person..then do it over the fone..whatever your do..dont do it over a text! :) Good Luck x x x [ NikkiM's advice column | Ask NikkiM A Question ]
Jeanne answered Tuesday May 29 2007, 2:34 am: You're absolutely right... it's not fair to either of you to keep going out if you don't really have feelings for him anymore. Breaking up is never easy, but it's best to get it over with and not drag things out. First of all, don't do it by texting him. Either call him on the phone or wait until you see him in person. (If you're texting him now, you could tell him that you want to call him because you need to talk to him about something). Be honest with him, but try not to hurt his feelings. You could say something like, "I've really had a good time going out with you, but I just don't feel the same way I did in the beginning, and I think we need to break up." If he still likes you, there's really no way to do it or nothing you can say that will prevent him from being hurt. So you just have to do it as nicely as possible so you can both move on.
