Hey. I'm 13/female. I was wondering if there is a reason why I have a lot of trouble sleeping late, and staying up late. And why is it that I'm always tired? Also, most times I wake up a few times throughout the night/ very early morning, seemingly around the same times, and it takes anywhere from 5-20 minutes to fall back asleep? And, usually atleast once every 2 weeks I end up staying up very late because I can't sleep? It takes me on average atleast one hour to fall asleep, no matter how tired I am when I lay down. Is there something I can do to help this besides taking medicine?

According to my doctor, teenager's sleep schedule's naturally screwed. Try taking a warm bath. Or reading in bed. Or [it works for me, suprisingly] a cup of coffee.
