Dilemma Over Friend
Hi. I'm a 16-year old female.I have this friend that I like a lot as a friend but I also have a crush on him as well. The thing is, I can't be in a situation where the two of us could be together, because of our reputations, etc. There's a large group of girls at my school that hates the people I am friends with, as well as myself; if this guy and I got together, they would never leave me alone about it for as long as I live! It's really confusing because I want to be just friends eith him anyway, but I also really like him. I want to be able to stop liking him but still be just friends. Is there anything I can do so this could happen? Thanks.

Just let time help you. As corny and unoriginal as it sounds, it's true. Time helps everything. Trust me, I'm going through it right now. Something very traumatic happened to me this passed Sunday, so I'm taking baby steps & time to help me get closure & get my life back together. Just take your time, take everything in & just keep living. That's basically all you can do.
