roasting marshmellows

is it bad to roast marshmallows over a scented candle? i know its a fire hazard, but are the chemicals from the candle bad?

The fumes from the candle would most likely be bad for you. I wouldn't suggest doing it.

I don't know for fact if the chemicals are bad, but I would assume they are.
Scented candles not only have the perfume in the candle wax, but it is also absorbed into the wick, which may cause the perfume to absorb into your marshmallow.
I would strongly advise against it.
I love roasted marshmallows too, but it isn't worth the risk of getting sick.
