I'm getting obsessed with pretzels. I have about 1/4 to 1/3 of a bag a day. Are pretzels a healthy snack choice or are they not? What if you like to dip them lightly in mustard?
Thank you!

they don't really have vitamans, minerals or nutritional value.
plus too much salt (on pretzels) can lead to high blood pressure which can eventually cause heart disease.
also, mustard is vert not nutritious either.
however, compared to all junk food, pretzeles are
pretty healthy.
like that other person said, too much of anything is not good.
i would suggest limiting pretzel intake to around every other day at first and then 3 times a week, slowy decreasing until its down to 2 times a week or less. [ thatttgirl3's advice column | Ask thatttgirl3 A Question ]
helloxdear13 answered Tuesday May 22 2007, 7:47 pm: Pretzels are better than most snacks, but try not to eat them too much. Just cut back a little, too much of anything isn't good. And if you still want that many, then cut back a bit on the mustard. :D [ helloxdear13's advice column | Ask helloxdear13 A Question ]
